New in 2025 Ostheimer have created two new figures “Pepe” and “Sumselinchen” who are the main characters in Daniela Drescher’s latest book “Pepe and Sumselinchen”.  The book is currently only available in German, however we hope that with the release of these whimsical figures from Ostheimer that the English print edition is not too far away.

All Ostheimer toys are handcrafted in Germany on a very high quality level. The soft edged form and the soft colours are typical. In the interaction with the reduced toy form, children learn to enliven the wooden figures and to use their one fantasy. The beautiful hand carved creations are formed from sustainable hardwoods, such as maple and ash and painted with non-toxic water-based colours. All Ostheimer toys are strictly up to the high European Safety Norm EN71 for Toys
